ASME provides significant financial support for the Ellie Awards, entitling ASME members who are chief editors of magazines or websites to pay lower entry fees. Editors who join ASME before November 1, 2019, are entitled to pay lower fees to enter the 2020 awards. ASME members who edit publications with limited print and digital audiences may be eligible for additional reductions. Entries submitted by ASME members whose dues are past due as of December 19, 2019, will be deemed ineligible.

Entry fees for ASME members are $295 in Feature Design, Feature Photography, Digital Innovation, Social Media, Podcasting, Video, Single-Topic Issue, Personal Service and Leisure Interests; $345 in Reporting, Feature Writing, Profile Writing, Essays and Criticism, Columns and Commentary, and Public Interest; and $395 in General Excellence, Design, Photography and Website. Entry fees for nonmembers are $100 higher in all categories.

Entry fees must be paid in full before December 31, 2019, or entries will be deemed ineligible. Entry fees will not be refunded under any circumstances. For more information about entry fees or to apply for ASME membership, email asme@asme.media.
